Chore Bear started as a sticky note on a fridge that fell off every Tuesday. We figured there was a cozier way.

We're parents who got tired of the Sunday-evening shame spiral, the one where you realize no one took out the trash, the dishwasher's still full, and somehow everyone claims it was someone else's job.

So we built the app we wanted. Not a productivity tool. Not a reward-hacking system. Just a warm, small, well-made thing that helps a family share the load without the nagging.

Chore Bear is made by a tiny team in California. No VC, no ads, no selling data. Just families, trying to make Tuesdays easier.

What we care about

Three things, in order.

Kids' well-being.

No addictive mechanics. No social feeds. No streaks that punish a sick day. Chores should feel like part of family life, not a game loop.

Parents' privacy.

Your family's data is yours. We don't sell it, don't mine it for ads, don't share it with anyone who doesn't need it to run the app.

Craft.

Small, thoughtful app. Every screen is there on purpose. We'd rather ship fewer things that work than many things that don't.
