Delete your account

You can delete your Chore Bear account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
What gets deleted: your parent account, all child profiles in your family, chores, rewards, task history, photos, and any personal information we hold about you. We complete deletion within 30 days. Some data may persist in backups for up to 90 days before being purged on our rolling schedule. A limited amount of information may be retained where required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

Option 1: delete from inside the app

Open Chore Bear

Sign in to the parent account you want to delete.

Go to Profile → Settings

Tap your avatar in the top-left, then the gear icon.

Scroll to "Delete account"

It's at the bottom of the Settings screen.

Confirm

You'll be asked to confirm with your password. Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately.

Option 2: request deletion by email

If you can't sign in to the app, use the form below to compose an email to [email protected], or write to that address yourself from the account email. We'll verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.

This opens your email app with a deletion request addressed to [email protected]. Your request only reaches us once you send that email. Send it from the address on the account if you can, because that is how we verify it. You can also write to [email protected] yourself.

Cancelling a subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Den subscription. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Chore Bear, then Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. You can do this before or after requesting deletion.
